What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable features across our full stack (React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS)
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Architect solutions for complex distributed systems challenges
• Own features from conception through deployment and monitoring
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Help shape our technical roadmap and architecture decisions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services (Node.js, Python, or Go)
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Track record of shipping high-quality products at scale
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Bonus Points

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
• Background in DevOps or infrastructure automation
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience at a high-growth startup
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements

Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Next.js

Infrastructure: AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS), Kubernetes, Terraform
Tools: GitHub, CircleCI, DataDog, Sentry
